World of Goo

The millions of Goo Balls that live in the beautiful World of Goo are curious to explore — but they don’t know that they are in a game, or that they are extremely delicious. Drag and drop living, squirming, talking, globs of goo to build structures, bridges, cannonballs, zeppelins, and giant tongues so that you can direct the Goo Balls to their goal on the other end of the stage.

Massive Online Competition - Human players around the world compete in a living leaderboard to build the tallest towers of goo in World of Goo Corporation’s mysterious sandbox

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great Game
I am in no way a video or computer gamer. We got this for a christmas gift for my Stepson who is 12ish. He liked it but I think he was a little too old for it. However I loved it….it was so much fun. I bought it again for my nephew who is 8. He loves it. Very g rated and a ton of fun.

4 Stars Sweet World of Goo
This is a wonderful game for young and old alike. Graphics and sounds are equally enchanting. The levels are progressively challenging without too much frustration for the 5-9 year olds. Recommended!

5 Stars Best puzzle game EVER!!!
This is the best puzzle game EVER! I played the WiiWare version at my friend’s house and I KNEW I had to have it on my Wii, so I got a points card as soon as I could and now i’m on the last level! It is defintly worth your money.

5 Stars Kids age 10 and 13 love it, non violent and more intellectual than many computer games.

My 10 year old girl and 13 year old boy had to be pulled off the computer after playing this for 5 hours straight (yeh, I know that is too long but I was working and getting so much done!). They did not fight the entire time they played the game. I could hear them laughing and encouraging each other to build higher (only one can play at at time).

They told me it reminded them of a combination of Zoombinis and Crazy Action Contraptions but was more fun.

Highly recommend if you need a little time to yourself without too much guilt.

5 Stars Engaging & Addictive
My boys—ages 10 and 7—love this game. This is well-done, well-designed and both boys enjoy the challenge and addictive qualities of this game. As a parent, I don’t feel guilty letting them play a game that at least engages their mind more than their wrists (a far cry from the redundant shoot-’em-up standard video game fare.) We purchased on PC, but will be getting the WII download, for the multi-player function.

We review Experimental Gameplay's first product and what is currently the highest-rated game ever According to Metacritic, World of Goo is the greatest game of all time. It would be hard to argue that it truly comes close, but it's just extremely difficult to fault such a gem of a game for anything. The game came from Tower of Goo from the Experimental Gameplay Project, which cranked out game ...
