Need for Speed Undercover

Need for Speed Undercover

You never thought it would turn out like this an all-out chase where you’re both the hunted and the hunter. Now you must get behind the wheel and risk everything to infiltrate a ruthless international crime syndicate and take them down. The man you’re after is a maniac behind the wheel, and he’s driving like his life depends on escape, which maybe it does. He’s the one with all the answers you need, so track him down. That fleet of police cruisers in your rearview mirror won’t make things any easier. It will take all of your experience and every ounce of skill to outrun the law, take down the enemy, and unlock the truth that puts an end to this chase once and for all.

3 Stars HMMM…..???
This game is okay, I guess. There arent as many features as I would have liked, but it has always been fun to race around in all the NFS games. I really would have like drifting courses like in carbon, but they didnt include them in this game (so far as I can tell).. The choice is really yours… Buy if you like NFS or don’t

3 Stars Great game but too easy.
Finished the game within a couple of days and am not that good. The graphics are awesome but car customization is not as good as other previous versions of NFS.

5 Stars GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!
GET THIS GAME. If you don’t like it you need to get used to it and get ferther in the game. Best racing game I ever played.

3 Stars Good but not great.
I really was worried about how they were goinig to do this title cause some of the other titles were “lacking” if that is the word to use. For example the most wanted series was kind of a wash. It really just felt like underground mixed with hot pursuit. Not knocking it, it just was lacking something. But this felt like the old need for speed titles that made need for speed worth getting. And as always the soundtrack is great to drive to. Pick this up if you are looking for a good racing title.

2 Stars Frame Rate issues and rubber band AI
NFS used to be a fun game to play since NFS 1

however EA has mangled every release since Most Wanted

The AI is imposssible halfway through the game, overly aggressive

and how do AI cars end up on your tail after being almost 30 seconds ahead of them. Police Impound your vehicle now so spending money on upgrades can be dangerous because as your Rep goes up so does the difficulty. Lose your car and you lose the upgrades you spent all your money on and now you are forced to try out driving the AI with a stripped down car. The frame rate issues were fixed but having an older 1080i HDTV the game gets downscaled by the PS3 to 480p

also EA has decided to sell Car packs for 7.99 on the PSN store but you only make the car available. you still have to have the cash in game to buy it in career mode. I remeber when EA used to have an unlock all cars

or unlock all tracks or upgrades or whatever code in game so you wouldn’t have to sit through 20 plus hours of gameplay. That too is a thing of the past, since people will pay real money for in game items

Goodbye Need for Speed and Goodbye EA

5 Stars Fantastic Fun For Everyone
This game is awesome for all ages and any gender. My friends and I could play this game for hours and do. The best Mario Kart to Date. Lots of characters to choose from and tracks for all skill levels. The controls are great and it’s a game you just can’t get bored of. Even my mom loves it and she is nearly fifty. Yikes.

I recommend it highly.

5 Stars great
wish the block level from the old one was in the new version they made the battle levels way to simple…i likeed the old one where it was if you were playing a game of ummmmm well any 1st person shooter game i cant think of any at the moment

4 Stars Another Hit by Nintendo
This game rocks! It is a little different from Super Mario Kart for SNES and Mario Kart 64 in that there are two characters per kart, but there inlies the fun! Twice the question blocks, more strategy (as far as when to release your items vs when to hold on to them) and added features like having a second player controll one of the characters (allowing your back character to punch other karts). New courses are a lot of fun and CGI charactes are an exciting challenge in the 150cc races.

4 Stars A great game for all ages.
This game should be enjoyable for all ages. The controls are very simple. It would appropriate for all ages as the “worst” part of the game can be seen in using items to hit other carts to move up slots in the race. Races range from the very easy 50cc level to the difficult 150cc level. This allows young children to potentially be able to succeed and for all levels to be challenged as you move up the levels.

4 Stars My 8yr. old loves this game.
I bought this game for my 8yr. old for Chritmas, it was a must have item. He absolutely loves this game but finds it difficult at times. He still would not trade it for anything.

2 Stars Save your $
The controls are difficult at best and the game won’t move past a

mission (PS3) you just die for no reason , unless this disc I got

is causing the problem. Ghost Recon, COD 4 and other games similar

more believable and no problems with other similar games . They

must of had there rookies make this one and you will see the price

difference from other similar and better quality games also.

5 Stars Underrated - This game rocks !
This game has been trashed by the Video game reviews, and even players for various reasons. Let me start off by saying a) I have no interest in online play (I’m not 13, and able to play excessively) - So a 1 player campaign is preferrable b.) I’ve finished COD4 and I PREFER Soldier of Fortune..why? Because I get to actually see damage occur to my victims, for one, adds alot of realism, than to watch them just fall down in COD4…also, I get to use a SNIPER rifle , or any weapon…where COD4 , outside of an early “Sniper Mission”, I just mow down excessive number of soldiers with an automatic weapon all game with COD4… The AI has been questioned, but its not SO bad.., alot like Castle of Wolfenstein (old days)..

Actually COD4 would tee me off as my own computer mates would get in my way..and COD4 AI isnt flawless by any means…

So if you want to have fun, and some “realism” to your enemies damage, pick it up. It was $39 , and I think well worth it. I love this game.

1 Star wow this is bad
the best thing about this game is that I rented it and didn’t buy it. It was probably the wrong game to play after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which is a game so much better it pains me to mention the two in the same sentence.

3 Stars Soldier of Fortune PS3 Review
what can i say about soldier of fortune payback for the ps3? its pretty, its bloody, and its fun. but its not all good. heres my review

good: beutiful and shiny enviorments

it is VERY bloody

great powerful guns

bad: enemies are hard to kill

not a wide variety of guns

enemies pop out of nowher behind you

bad aiming

some levels are EXTREMELY hard

overall: this gam could have turned out good, but it is just an average FPS on ps3. 3/5

1 Star SOF dissapointment
This game is a complete dissapointment. Sof Payback is a downgrade from Sof Double Helix. The landscape/body modeling, and the variety of weapons are the only positive gains. The story line is uncreative and very generic. Gameplay lasts about 4.5 hours on normal. Activsion was obviously trying to sell the name and hope that us Sof Veterans would blindly go out and buy the game. If you have to play this RENT IT, don’t waste your money buying it. Listed below are the negatives that I discovered while playing.

1. No Random Mission Generator

2. Unbalanced enemy AI

3. Faulty Partical Physics “bullets hitting you while your behind solid cover”

4. Very toned down gore. “blood spray and detachable limbs is the full extent”

5. Short ultra linear missions

6. Sniper rifles with no missions that would deem one worthwile

7. Clanky controls

8. Questionable Replay Value
