5 Stars Fantastic!
This is an excellent RTS game. There are so many scenarios you can do, and need I mention how you can create custom maps and scenarios? Love this! I also love how I get the expansion for Age of Empires II, and the Gold Edition of the first Age of Empires game. If you like Warcraft 1-3, I’m sure you’ll love this game.

4 Stars grandson is ages fan
This is our ’second’ time buying this. First one got misplaced. Our grandson truly enjoys playing it.

5 Stars A great Game at Amazing Amazon’s Price!
I have always Loved AOE. Got the box in time. AOE is Microsoft’s gift to game lovers like us. The CDs (3 Of them) are nicely bundled. I installed them in My XP Machine. Didn’t face any issues with the drivers so far. I am not sure why others reported this issue. May be my hardware was compatible. Only thing that bugs me is putting the Game CD everytime you want to play it. I understand they are doing it to prevent pirecy, but still it bugs me a lot. I didn’t try it on Vista so far.

5 Stars Age II FTW
For anyone who doesnt know what this game is. It is possibly one of the most fun fts made to date. This game is quite old , but I still play it with many friends. For the price this is going for its an absolute steal pick it up and you wont regret it.

5 Stars Middle Age Fun
An older game, but has great historical accuracy for those who enjoy reliving middle age technologies.

5 Stars Excellent Game that is worth every penny
Simply put it is the Indiana Jones game we have all been waiting for with a script just as good or better. I won’t bore with too many details that repeat the product description so here goes:

Graphics: Amazing. If you play this on a HDTV you will probably see the best graphics of any console. Animation, models, environment, everything is just beautiful.

Audio: The music and sound effects are excellent. The voice acting is also top notch.

Controls: Only one thing to complain about an that is how you throw grenades. Using the Sixaxis to adjust the angle of your throw in the middle of a fire fight can be frustrating. This has changed for Uncharted 2.

Story: Cliff-notes? Almost exactly like a Indiana Jones movie.

Presentation: The cutscenes are movie-quality and the game holds everything together nicely.

I loved everything about it and am eagerly anticipating the sequel.

5 Stars Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
My husband waited a long time to get a PS3, when I bought it, I knew to buy Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune with it. I think it was the main reason he wanted the PS3, to play this game. He’s played it continuously since getting it. I’ve watched a lot of the game play, it’s a stunningly beautiful game. The voice acting is good, the story line is too. Game control has been excellent. Very happy with the purchase. I know he’ll play this one again when he finishes it.

5 Stars Awesome!!
I just cant believe this game was released 2 years ago and still lookin great even when there are even better lookin’ games out there like Killzone 2… this game is kinda hard and could turn frustrating when a bunch of guys start shooting at you but you get used to it and it makes it worth it since most of the games nowadays are easy… go for it before Uncharted 2 comes out… you wont regret it ^.^

5 Stars I`m gonna keep it simple
This is a classic for the PS3, you can notice that on how it`s mantaining a high price even while it was released almost 2 years ago and we are facing this fall the release of Uncharted 2. Anyway this game is absolutely fantastic, the PS3 provided the guys at naughty dog the chance to prove themselves making a fantastic game, while overall games use three textures for face details on characters this game uses more than 20. Realistic at its best!!

Story: 5 stars, well done!

Game Play: 5 stars combines shooter with hand to hand combat plus prince of persia style acrobatics.

Music: Superb!

Graphics: Fantastic!

5 Stars 3rd person shooter combined with Tombraider and prince of persia
The graphics for this game are sick and only give a glimpse of the PS3’s capabilities. I’ll keep this review short and sweet. You play a character named Nathan Drake, who is hellbent on finding El dorado and he only has a small book and an old map to go off of. During the game, you’ll be climbing and jumping from wall to wall (kind of like prince of persia), shooting down enemies in 3rd person style, and figuring out puzzles like in Tomb raider. This game is one of many games that makes the ps3 worth purchasing.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic The Hedgehog brings the popular character back to his high-velocity roots, for a new dimension of entertainment. In his first adventure set in the human world, Sonic meets a beautiful princess named Elise — queen of Soleanna, the beautiful city of water. When she’s kidnapped by Dr. Eggman, Sonic enters the world of humans to fight the menacing doctor to thwart his malicious plans. As he stops Eggman’s plans to destroy this special kingdom of hers, Sonic will encounter and interact with new allies and enemies, like the mysterious, supernatural Silver. As Sonic speeds through the huge kingdom, the mysteries unravel.

1 Star Don’t buy it
Awful product, as other reviewers have stated. If you want to get funny games for your kids, buy Surfs Up or Ratatouille instead.

4 Stars Sonic!!!!!!!!!!
I love Sonic games. This one is a little different than the other ones I have played. It seems a little convoluted in the city, when you have to interact with people in the streets. However, once the level begins it is the same fun, fast paced, heart pumping Sonic all over again. I really enjoy the two-player coop mode in this version. I wish they could integrate online coop mode with the game.

3 Stars Sonic Should go Back to 2D Sidescolling
If you fell in love with Sonic on the Sega Genesis, you may want to pickup the Sega compilation for the PS2. This game is a 3D open-area platformer with some RPG elelments thrown in. There are some very frustrating elements to this game…and you’ll find yourself asking yourself how you can move onto the next level because you frankly cannot figure out what you need to do.

1 Star Terrible game control
The game might not be so bad if you actually had some control over what was going on. Half the time you spent just along for the ride and trying to not crash into something, which would result in instant death of the character. The rest of the time, the camera is moving around such that you can’t see what’s in front of you and as the camera controls control where the camera is, rather than what it’s looking at, I was always moving the camera in the wrong direction (I’ve seen this particular problem many times before and it is not unique to Sonic, but it is something you should be allowed to select, like reversing the Y-axis on FPS’s). My wife and I gave up on this game after becoming frustrated with it. We buy games to have fun, NOT to see how many unique ways our characetr can be killed.

3 Stars best game ever:!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this game but their are soooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! many load screens for 1 second clips but also you can play 2 other players and their great action I now what the guys are saying but I recommd this game

I now what those other guys are saying but I recommd this game

NFL Street 3

September 8th, 2008 Playstation Review No comments

NFL Street 3

NFL Street 3 gives you a chance to play YOUR style of football - both on the ground and in the air. In this new version of the hit NFL Street series, you can show off your style and boost your score with stunning aerial moves. Jump into the air and collect special items and game modifiers that hover above the playing field, to boost your game. Control your Gamebreaker and pull off new Power moves that are available to both the offense and defense.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars A great alternative to NF( No Fun League)
With all the limitation the NFL has put out this year: No TD Celebrations, No Dancing; No Taunting, it’s no surprising that Chad Johnson is on the cover of this title.

This is all about street football: where it doesn’t matter how you win, as long as you look good doing it!

Major improvements over NFL Street 2: You can completely control the GAMEBREAKER feature this time around. Instead of activating GameBreaker during pre-snap, you can activate it after: Deliver a bone-crushing blow on defense or deliver a bullet-accurate pass on offense: You use it when you the time is right!

For those who never played the series; here it is in a nutshell: There are no refs, no penalties, no problems! Its about you building a team and traveling from town to town, facing a team of amatuers. The more you win, the better your team gets and the more respect you earn. Earn enough respect and you will be facing NFL teams and if you are good enough, you will be facing Chad himself at the end.

Complete certain feats and get unlockables that will improve your game. You can even unlock old-time NFL greats!

High-Octane game like this should please any NFL fan that likes excitement. If you hate attitude-type football, then this game might not be for you and perhaps you should give Madden series a try instead.

5 Stars Great, Great game only if it wasnt so fast
In Street 2 jumping off walls was an awkward gaming experience but playable. Street 1 was the best of the series because it was pure street football, no jumping and cartwheeling all over the place. Thats why the fun rating went down, Other than that it Crushes Madden. Hey EA maybe football is your forte. But leave the sim to ESPN 2K.
