Join Mama, either in single player, or with up to three friends in wireless DS single-card play as she grows, harvests and enjoys the literal fruits of her labors. Use the stylus as your master garden tool to take care of flowers, fruit trees and vegetables in Mama’s garden. Growing live products means that you may experience unexpected results based on your care—flowers can bloom different colors, fruit trees can grow different fruits, etc. Multiple game modes: Let’s Grow It - Grow many kinds of flowers, fruits and vegetables. Manage your garden as it seeds, blooms fruit, bears fruit and matures. Fertilizer and soil conditions will affect your results. Let’s Enjoy It - Produce items from the flowers, fruits and vegetables you have raised (i.e. grow strawberries and make strawberry jam; grow flowers and press them into an album; grow pumpkins to make jack o lanterns, etc.). Let’s Do Gardening - Follow Mama’s expert guidance as you decorate various chapel, house and store gardens while making gardening goods like pergolas and hanging baskets, and planting flower beds and trees. Let’s Harvest Multiplayer - Compete against up to four friends online to harvest fruits and vegetables. The winner harvests the most. Treasure Box - Keep the products you’ve made from your gardening and trade those creations with friends online. Dress Up - Change Mama’s costume and customize your game layout and design. 5 Stars She’s baaack…
Mama is back! And this time she has traded in her whisk for a shovel! That’s right..Mama gardens now!

The setup is virtually the same as in Cooking Mama. You garden things and then you get a grade for it. There are a couple changes that are worth noting however:

One bonus is that the game is in bird’s eye view; you get to roam the garden and select what you want to grow. More options become available as you progress and your garden expands into new areas. You also get more plants to grow as you go along.

Another nice thing is that you can change Mama’s outfits and even decorate your garden with the bonus prizes you earn. This is fun when you want to take a break from gardening.

The major difference with Gardening Mama from Cooking Mama is that instead of just cooking a dish and being done you have to allow your plants to grow. So when you garden something you are not done for a while. There are many steps to garden until you get a finished product. Sometimes you can even make food from a plant. It can get kind of annoying waiting for plants to grow because you have to watch them. If you forget about one Mama will come on the screen and alert you, which gets tedious. But other than that waiting for plants isn’t too bad.

I would recommend this game for any Cooking Mama fan or anyone wanting to try out the series. It is very fun alone or in single-card download mode. The developers have been consistent with the look and gameplay of the series, which keeps it familiar yet still refreshing. A must for all Mama fans!

5 Stars Excellent & Addictive
I like most others that have reviewed this item, loved the Cooking Mama games. I figured since I liked those then I would definitely like this game, boy was I right. This game is very fun, and addictive. I have to say that I like it better than the cooking mama games. It is set up alittle different than the cooking mama games but nothing major to make it difficult to play. I am really glad that I purchased the game. I really didn’t want to pay $27.99 for the game, but glad that I did. If you liked the cooking mama games you will definitely like this game. And will probably be as addicted as the rest of us that have played the game. I highly recommend purchasing this game, I don’t think you will be disappointed. I would give the game 10 stars if I could, its that fun & addictive.

5 Stars MAMA HAS DONE IT AGAIN
I love this game. I just bought it 3 days ago and I can’t put it down. I own cooking mama as well but I like the gardening better. This game is well worth the money enjoy.

My 8 year old daughter received this game for Easter and hasn’t stopped playing it since. It’s really cute, pretty simple but very entertaining!

If your kids love Cooking Mama - you must buy them Gardening Mama! So much fun for kids ages 4 to 40! This is a good game to buy for a kid of any age.
